Ahoy mateys! Looking for something fun and exciting to do on a beautiful Fall weekend? Then come on out and join the adventure at the Oceanside Tall Ship Festival along scenic Oceanside Harbor. Explore some of California's finest tall ships and help say goodbye to the "Lynx" as she prepares to set sail for the eastern coast. Other featured ships are revenue cutter "Californian" and the top-sail schooner "Amazing Grace". These ships will be open for dockside tours from 10:00am - 1:00pm and then the Californian and the Lynx depart at 2:00pm for a gunbattle of the high seas.

Enjoy music and other piratical entertainment featuring scurvy dogs and scallywags from near and afar. Kids in costume can enter a contest and may even be asked to take part in helping out Captain Jack during the afternoon's pirate shows.

And....for the first time ever at Oceanside Harbor....Mermaids!!!
The Mermaids will be singing and available for photos. Now these are no ordinary mermaids...these lovely beautys of the sea will be sporting tails created and crafted by Thom Shouse. Thom is the man who creates just about every mermaid tail you see on TV or in movies and his most famous work was with Darryl Hannah for the movie "Splash".

12:00 Kid's Costume Contest (Pirates, Princesses, hey, even Darth Vader is okay...it's for kids!)
1:30 The Pirate Show featuring the cast of Pirate Adventure
2:00 The Californian and The Lynx depart for a gunbattle
2:30 Mister Mac's Mermaid Musical
3:30 The Pirate Show featuring the cast of Pirate Adventure
5:00 The Californian and The Lynx return / Festival Closes
And pickup some of your own pirate's treasure from vendors such as Acts of Piracy, No Quarter Given, Sea Wolf, and more!

For Mapquest use 1380 N Pacific St.., Oceanside CA 92054
Directions: Take Interstate 5 to Oceanside and take the Harbor Dr. offramp.
Go towards the ocean! Turn left towards the harbor and then follow the road to the left at the split. Take it all the way around the harbor until you hit Pacific St. Turn right and look for a tall ships and pirates. You can't miss us!
